Good Reads

I finally discovered a use for this blog- post good reads that I come across at work. For those of you obsessed with reading- which I think covers my family- you might find some of the books interesting.
Okay Stephanie Meyer- Twilight series- they are just wonderful- I am hooked- She writes YA ( young adult) in the same vein as JK Rowling- books as well as adult fiction-- the Twilight series has 3 books- Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and the latest due out with great fanfare on August 2.
Has anyone read her work? and what do you think?

I just read a book called "Bliss" and I can't remember the author's name. It's the story of a Turkish 15-year-old girl who was raped by her Uncle and was ostrasized by her family. Great read!

I love the idea of sharing good books! I would recommend "Dead Heat" by Joel Rosenberg; intense and left me overwhelmed with "worse case possibilities". Also just finished "The Flirt" by Kathleen Tessaro; a fun read with great surprise endings for all the characters - you just don't see them coming!

Haven't read the Twilight series but I am reading a good book right now called, "The Pawn" (can't remember the author). His second book came out this past spring "The Rook". I haven't read it yet but am looking forward to reading it since the first book is so good -- especially if you like police/fbi mysteries.
